TELL IT ON TUESDAY | ABOUT US
Producers Bridget Frederick started working with solo performance in a class taught by David Ford in 2004. In addition to co-producing TIOT, she co-directed the Dance IS Festival, a multigenerational annual dance festival from 2004-2009. Working for the City of Berkeley, she produced a film highlighting the carbon-saving actions of Berkeley residents and also produced the annual Green Gathering, a celebration of accomplishments made in Sustainable Development. A main focus of her work in both sustainability and in the arts has been creating space for community dialogue, encouraging interaction, cooperation and understanding between people of different generations and different backgrounds. Rebecca Fisher has been a theater teaching artists for over 9 years, teaching independently, as well as with organizations. She developed her first solo performance piece The Magnificence of the Disaster with The Marsh’s artist-in-residence David Ford, as a member of The Marsh Performance Initiative. She did a three-month run at The Marsh in 2007, followed by performances in Memphis, TN as a co-production of Voices of the South and Playhouse on the Square. In the Bay Area, she has performed with New Conservatory Theatre, Three Wise Monkeys, and Shotgun Players and has trained as a life coach at the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto. Rebecca is originally from Memphis, TN. She attended Wheaton College in Norton, MA, and settled in the Bay Area in 2000, after a few post college years in Chicago. www.rebeccamfisher.com
